How the DR warranty works

Duration

5-year / 100,000 km warranty

Duration: 60 months or 100,000 km (whichever limit is reached first)
Unlimited mileage in the first 2 years
Coverage: Italy; 24/7 roadside assistance also abroad

8-year / 100,000 km warranty on electric vehicle battery

Valid if the battery’s residual capacity is ≥ 70% compared to new
Period: 96 months or 100,000 km (whichever term is reached first)

What it covers

The DR warranty offers protection for your vehicle, covering:

Manufacturing defects in mechanical and electronic components
Malfunctions that compromise safety or performance
Work performed at Authorized DR Service Centers, for defects or malfunctions attributable to the manufacturer’s responsibility

Territorial coverage

Italy: all warranty services are valid throughout the country

Abroad: vehicle functionality restoration and 24/7 roadside assistance

A few simple rules

Proper vehicle use

Always follow the instructions in the Owner’s Manual.
Perform all periodic operations and inspections indicated by the manufacturer in the vehicle handbook.
Avoid unauthorized modifications or improper use: vehicle overloading, racing, rallies, or other extreme activities.

Parts and accessories

The warranty does not cover problems arising from non-genuine parts
Accessories not approved by DR are not covered

Components subject to normal wear

Parts subject to natural deterioration are not covered by the warranty, including:

Tires
Friction materials (brake pads, clutches, etc.)
Filters, spark plugs, and other components replaceable during normal maintenance

Forfeiture

The warranty naturally expires 2 years from the registration date in case of sale and subsequent change of ownership
If, after the first two years from vehicle registration, routine maintenance is performed at a non-authorized DR repair shop, the warranty will be voided with immediate effect.

Electric vehicle battery warranty

Your DR electric vehicle is protected by an extended warranty on the traction battery, designed to guarantee long-term performance and peace of mind.

Duration and validity

Duration: 8 years (96 months) or 100,000 km, whichever limit is reached first
Coverage condition: the battery must maintain at least 70% of its original capacity

Territorial coverage

Warranty valid throughout Italy
Battery assistance and restoration also available abroad, according to DR conditions
